This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how appointments, diagnostics, and pharmacy orders booked through hospital apps powered by AppDoc are handled. By using our services, patients agree to the terms outlined below.
Patients may cancel or reschedule appointments directly through the hospital’s app, subject to the hospital’s rules.
Refunds for prepaid appointments will be processed if:
The patient cancels within the hospital’s allowed cancellation window, or
The doctor/hospital cancels the appointment due to unavailability.
Refund timelines may vary by hospital but typically take 5–7 working days to reflect in the patient’s account.
AppDoc acts only as a technology facilitator; the final responsibility for refunds rests with the hospital.
Patients may cancel lab bookings within the hospital’s specified time frame.
Refunds are eligible if:
The test was not conducted.
The booking was canceled within the allowed time window.
Once a test is completed, no refund will be issued.
In case of sample rejection or hospital’s inability to perform the test, a full refund will be provided.
Orders once processed/dispatched cannot be canceled.
Cancellation is possible only if:
The order has not yet been processed by the pharmacy.
The prescribed medicine is unavailable at the hospital pharmacy.
Refunds (if eligible) will be processed within 5–7 working days.
Medicines once delivered/opened cannot be returned due to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Refunds (if applicable) are initiated by the hospital and processed via the same payment method used.
Depending on the patient’s bank or payment provider, refunds may take up to 10 working days.
AppDoc is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or banks.
Refunds will not be issued in cases where:
The patient provides incorrect details during booking.
The patient fails to show up for the appointment/test without canceling.
The medicine or diagnostic service has already been availed.
AppDoc is a technology platform.
All payments, refunds, and cancellations are the sole responsibility of the respective hospital.
Patients must contact the hospital directly for any refund-related queries.
